Tips for wallpapering
Wallpapering is not a big task at all, after reading our article you can find out about this and choose a professional accordingly.

About 2,000 years ago, wallpaper was first used by the Chinese. At that time, however, they did not coat their walls to increase their aesthetic value, but because rice paper was a very good insulating material. Fast forward two thousand years, we can say that wallpaper is experiencing a renaissance now, as the atmosphere of our homes is significantly influenced by what our walls look like. Due to the pattern of the wallpapered wall, you can easily change the spatial conditions, effectively mask minor defects while emphasizing the advantages of the surface.

Helps the pattern

Patterned wallpapers can be extremely helpful in making a small space look bigger or shrinking a large room a bit. For a small room, wallpapers with a diagonal pattern are best suited. For rooms that are too high, it is useful to stick wallpaper with horizontal stripes that does not reach all the way to the ceiling. And a room that is too large can simply be made smaller with sharp colors and large patterns.

Why wallpaper?

Due to its many features, it is worth choosing this wall decoration solution. The first advantage is that it is an extremely good heat insulator, on the other hand it hides the unevenness of the wall, it is easy to clean - there are also washable wallpapers - painting would not achieve this diverse color and shape, and it is inimitable in creating atmosphere.

What to look for before buying?

Before you burst into the first wallpaper store, be sure to figure out the final result in your head. We have to decide what color scheme we would like to see on the wall of our room, if you want patterned wallpaper, you also have to decide on that. The size and features of the room should not be overlooked. How much wallpaper will be needed is really easy to calculate. Take the width of the walls, divide them by the width of the roll (53cm, 70cm, 106cm) to get how many sheets are needed to wallpaper the wall, then multiply this amount by the ceiling height (2.75m). The door and window sizes shall be subtracted from the quantity obtained if the wallpaper is not patterned. If the wallpaper is patterned, we have to look at the pattern fit indicated on the label (e.g. 53cm), multiply it by the amount of sheets, and add the resulting amount to the already existing m.
