Important information about wallpaper adhesives
In our previous writings, we dealt more with wallpapers and their interior design aspects, so this time we will talk about an indispensable product: wallpaper adhesives.

The condition of the walls, the type and quality of wallpaper that best suits them are also important factors in the wallpapering process, but we must not forget about the glue for application.

We already have a wide range of wallpaper adhesives at our disposal, and it doesn't matter what kind of wallpaper we pair with which glue. For example, thinner wallpapers will require a more diluted glue, while thicker ones (such as sawdust wallpaper) will obviously need a stronger one. However, a special type of glue is needed for vinyl wallpaper.

Choosing the right wallpaper glue is extremely important, because if you don't keep the streaks enough, it will be money thrown out the window. If you are not so familiar with the topic, it is better to entrust this investment to the invited professional, or at least seek his advice.

Glue should be applied evenly, in sufficient quantities, to the back of the wallpaper. After that, you need to wait for the strips to soften, but this period differs from type to type. Some may need 3 minutes, but some may need up to 15 minutes. Fortunately, you can find accurate information on the box or packaging of the adhesive. The softening time should always be observed and you should never oversoak the strips as they will become unusable. Of course, do not glue the strips all at once, but always only as much as you can apply within 5-10 minutes after the softening time.

If we manage to choose the glue for wallpaper and follow the manufacturer's instructions, then no problems should arise with this. Otherwise, however, the whole wallpapering can be frustrated with this "tiny" detail.
