Cold colors, or creators of harmony

Cold colors, or creators of harmony
With cold colors, we can radiate not excessive excitement and nervousness, but, on the contrary, calmness. For a bedroom or living room, therefore, wallpaper color can be a great choice.

It is important to know about cold colors that they narrow the space when applied over a large area, so it is better to use them in rooms that receive sufficient natural light, as the right lighting conditions can compensate for this problem.

Nevertheless, you can use them in bathrooms and washrooms, since you do not spend so much time in these rooms that they make you feel bad. However, their cold effect can be counterbalanced by warm colors, or even white, champagne or cherry shades.

Despite the fact that blue is the color of water, you can meet it not only in bathrooms. Today, turquoise is considered one of its most fashionable tones, but due to its dominant effect, it is worth being careful with its use. Various shades of blue look great with gray, brown, yellow or even green. For bedrooms, a shade of blue can prove to be an excellent choice, as it helps people to get the necessary resting state before falling asleep or resting.

The darker purple has a certain aristocratic elegance, but when applied to too large surfaces, this color can easily become overwhelming. In addition, its various shades can awaken in us a sense of mysterious spirituality and intimate shyness at the same time. Many people believe that excessive use of lilac can make our homes theatrical, but this effect can be easily compensated. If we place a lot of accessories and furniture in white, champagne or light purple next to the purple walls, then the room will feel more warm. In combination with a darker shade of blue or even gray, we can keep the slightly cold effect in the room.

One of the most popular cold colors is perhaps green, which, due to its natural nature, still exudes warmth. It is also a very comforting color, but you have to be careful which shade you use, as its dark and poison green tones, for example, can easily make the room overwhelming. Probably due to its natural effect, it looks great with almost any color and even requires colorful accessories and furniture. If you want to keep the freshness of green, choose a light, bright green shade, as darker tones can give a slightly outdated look.
